#4 Cooleman Ridge

Date: 22 February 2014
Points of interest: Cows, Canberra Centennial Trail, interesting large rocks
Difficulty rating: 1

Our first formal conquest after many years! From this trig station we could see Canberra suburbs (Weston Creek) on one side and open country on the other. We were tricked by a display on the Centennial Trail proclaiming that we were in the vicinity of Mt Arawang, and went on a wild goose chase up a couple of hills looking for Mt Arawang trig station. Two trig stations in one morning would have been a coup for this first restart effort. But not to be. The consolation was Amy seeing a snake or lizard in a rock crevice - unverified but I believe her. And we did spot a fox.

#1 MC-Tuggeranong

Date: unknown, but looks like when Adam was 12 years old
Points of interest: Tuggeranong lake views
Difficulty rating: Likely to be 1

Not actually sure which trig station this is, but it is likely to be MC-Tuggeranong, although it could possibly be MC-Stranger. One way to check would be to visit them again and compare the views.
